Breaking Down the Story of the Lady of the Forest Garden
Over the past two weeks, I have shared with you the story of the Lady of the Forest Garden. Shared responses include: 1. I have never experienced that kind of love. 2. I know no man that loves like that. 3. I know no woman that loves like that. 4. I want a relationship like that. 5. Is this kind of love possible? Let’s examine the story, the obvious circumstances that can be observed and those that cannot. First, we observe a kingdom, a dominion, or a personal space interrupted by power. Thomas, a leadership presence in his community chose not to war with power, but to acknowledge the path of powerlessness (a very real power) to save his people, community, and kingdom from harm.
